[Apple-Crop] Serenade

I have used the 1.34% QST 713 Serenade on young trees in our retail
nursery that is labelled for fire blight and scab. Since those trees do
not bloom, I have never used it for fireblight, choosing to use a copper
spray as soon as the trees arrive from Stark Bros. Serenade 1.34%
concentrate has never worked for scab for me. I still stick with Captan
and Immunox (myclobutinil 1.55%) for scab in the Nursery. After our
experience with Serenade in the Nursery, we have never used it in the
orchard. We still stick to a copper spray for fireblight and
strep/Regulaid at bloom. With over 30 varieties in the orchard, we do 2
strep sprays about 5 to 7 days apart since our bloom period can last 10
to 14 days. It has never failed us yet.
