Russel Husch has been orcharding in Winfield, just north of Kelowna, for 27 years. He has his own nursery and has top-worked (grafted) many trees to take advantage of new varieties, such as 'Silken.' (A recent release of Cheryl Hampson's fruit breeding program at PARC-Summerland.)
