Nova Scotia apple grower
John Eisses farms 100 acres of apples,
60 acres of field beans and peas, and 60 acres of winter wheat. John is lucky
to have one of the best fruit growing sites in the Annapolis Valley, and has
taken full advantage of it with extensive use of dwarf rootstocks including
M.9, Ottawa 3, and M.26. He has used a variety of training/support
systems including single-stake, V-trellis, and conduit. He has extensive plantings
of
