Special Tour - Spouses, Companions, Etc.
Monday, February 19, 2001
10:00 a.m. - Leave hotel and travel to Frozen Creek Florals, an extraordinary business housed in a 120 year old farmhouse. They specialize in freeze-dried floral arrangements. Come see their theme rooms, the wedding room, the freeze drying process and shop in their interesting store.
11:45 am - Leave Frozen Creek Florals and travel to Robinettes Apple Haus & Gift Barn. The Robinette Fruit Farm has been in the family since 1911. It continues as a family operation, which has grown from the orchard to farm market to the multi-faceted enterprise of today. We will have lunch in the Apple Haus Bakery and Cider Bar. There will be time to shop their Gift Barn where they feature a large selection of collectibles and gifts.
2:30 pm - Leave Robinette's and travel to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. A special exhibit "Style and Substance: America's First Ladies," features the evolution of fashion in the White House. The Ford Museum also has a full-scale reproduction of the oval office and a state dinner.
4:00 p.m. - Return to the Amway Grand Plaza.
